You sit there

Old and worn out.

But you are my favourite

And always will be without a doubt.

Always there for me 

When times get rough.

When i need a cuddle

And ive had enough.

With an eye missing

And a leg which is torn

I love you all the same

Even though you’re timeworn.

I shall keep you forever

And pass you along

So my children can love you

And make your legacy lifelong.

You sit there silently

In that rocking chair

My one and only

Special teddy bear.
